Bio

Another influential figure in the world of direct selling and personal development is a man whose work has inspired countless individuals to think bigger, communicate better, and believe more deeply in their potential.

John Milton Fogg is a writer, editor, educator, speaker, consultant, radio talk show host, and mentor coach who has dedicated more than 30 years to the direct sales profession.

He is best known as the author of the network marketing classic The Greatest Networker in the World, a book that has sold more than one million copies worldwide and has impacted readers across generations. His contribution to the profession has even earned him the title “The Napoleon Hill of Network Marketing.”

John’s influence extends far beyond the written word. He has spoken to audiences across the globe, including a remarkable crowd of 25,000 people at Moscow’s Olympic Stadium. His travels have taken him to Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Dubai, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and throughout the United States, sharing his message of belief, communication, and personal growth.

As an author and editor, he has contributed to more than 20 books. Among them is The Greatest Networkers in the World, Twenty One Ordinary People Who Became Millionaires in Direct Selling, a collection of real life success stories that highlight what is possible within the profession.

Beyond his writing, John has played a key role in creating platforms for learning and growth within the industry. He co founded Upline magazine and developed programs and experiences such as Belief Busters, the Master Mind Sessions, The Upline Master’s Weekends, and the Lifetimer’s Retreat. He is also the founder of Transformation Technology, further demonstrating his commitment to personal and professional development.

In 2017, he published Speaking and Listening, We Do Not Listen and We Talk Too Much, a book that reflects his deep understanding of communication, one of the most essential skills in both business and life. In 2019, he co authored Connect… or Die with Pastor Chris Dorrity, continuing his exploration of human connection in an increasingly disconnected world.

Away from his professional life, John is a father of four. He has two adult children, Rachel and Johnny, as well as two younger daughters, Eleonora Milena, a harpist, and Anais Polina, a violinist and comedian.

When he is not working, something he genuinely loves, John enjoys spending time outdoors, mowing his three acre lawn on foot and riding the winding country roads just south of Charlottesville, Virginia, on his 1972 classic Honda motorcycle.

His life’s work reflects a simple but powerful mission to help people grow, connect, and realise more of who they are capable of becoming.
